Mans dies in crash in Brisbane’s south


A man has died after his motorcycle and a vehicle collided in Brisbane’s south.

Police said a Nissan Patrol was travelling on Precinct Street in Parkinson when it attempted to turn into a driveway and collided with a motorcycle just after 3.30pm on Wednesday.

Emergency services were called and treated the motorcyclist but the 51-year-old man died on scene as a result of his injuries.

The 19-year-old male driver of the Nissan Patrol did not suffer any physical injury.

Officers from the forensic crash unit are investigating the circumstances of the crash.
