KFC lovers are scrambling to get their hands on a bizarre new product — but if you’re an Aussie fried chicken fan, tough luck.
That’s because the fast food giant has just released a brand new candle, of all things — and apparently, it smells just like the chain’s trademark gravy.

But if you’re hoping to snag one, you’ll have to book a flight to London — because the candles are available only in the UK at this point.
And even then they are limited to 230 candles available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
A KFC spokesperson confirmed the news to Metro.
“You’re not dreaming. You really can now fill your home with the incredible aroma of KFC gravy with this limited edited candle … it’s staggeringly nose stimulating,” the spokesperson said.
And it turns out there was a lot more to the candle’s creation than meets the eye.
“What an honour it was to create a candle with such a highly-beloved scent,” Metro reported the company’s parfumier as saying.
“Initially the different ingredients within the gravy were split into their constituent parts and fragrances matched to each. Then the scent was built component by component in the similar ratios as KFC’s iconic gravy.
“The artisanal approach to creating the candles was crucial to ensure the familiar and evocative aroma of gravy was perfectly captured.”
The company has shared the news on its website as well as on Twitter, where it has attracted a frenzy of likes, shares and comments.
UK residents have the chance to win a candle by entering their details on the KFC website.
KFC has previously released a similar, chicken-scented candle and bath bomb that filled homes with the aroma of the chains infamous, secret herbs and spices blend.
But it’s not the first time KFC has made headlines by releasing quirky products.
Last year, KFC announced it would launch its own clothing range — from budgie smugglers and track pants — for the company’s Youth Foundation charity.
As part of the line, it also released its own $13, chicken-scented surf wax, promising it “smells almost as good as the real thing”.
It also launched a range of accessories such as pins and necklaces, as well as a $3000 surfboard named after the famous Colonel Harland Sanders.
